The Choir
We are a group of people who enjoy singing. We meet for practice on Thursday evening at 8pm.
On Sunday morning we lead the singing of hymns and songs and occasionally we sing an anthem or an introit. The congregation relies on us particularly when there is an unfamiliar tune. At Christmas time we participate in the service of lessons and carols. Providing that you can sing in tune, we would welcome you to join us. We are blessed with several excellent organists who provide beautiful music before, during and after worship.
OUCH
Ouch is a social meeting for older people to play board games and chat on the last Thursday of each month. We meet in the Vestibule from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. We pay fifty pence subs each week and that includes tea and biscuits. Church members and friends are all welcome. Just turn up and join in!
Readers Unite
Readers Unite is a book club which is held in the Church. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 10.15a.m in the Vestibule. There is a democratic selection of model novels with a leaning to current fiction. It has been agreed that we do not discuss religious or political works. We are a friendly and sociable with luncheon outings and would welcome new members.
Rainbow
